You asked for it. My kitchen is small and boring I’m sure compared to some people. The backsplash was when my husband was still putting it up. The kitchen looks exactly the same as here with the backsplash.

Will you have upper cabinets? I ask because the lights seem close to the wall.

I never share pics here because I don't know how! I've tried to add an avatar pic, share Christmas pics, , etc. but I always get error messages. For the record, I only access this site via my Kindle Fire. Maybe that's the problem?

Anyway, my kitchen is nice but not extravagant or anything. Gray cabinets, black granite counters, black appliances... I "designed" it myself so I love it.

Just wish it had a pantry!

Go to the bottom of the page where you post comments. Then, start at number 1 and click the buttons I’ve circled.
At number 3, you’ll need to select the pictures you want. You can add them all at once - but I’ve never been able to do it because it freezes my phone. I add one at a time. Each new picture shows up at the top.

I’m kitchen is a similar size and layout. I don’t have any pictures of it, but imagine basically your kitchen except white cabinets and brown/beige speckled countertops.

It does look as if they are! The picture was taken by my contractor and it has a weird distortion. The room is actually almost square and the lights are 2' from wall to accommodate uppers. I placed them so they'll be centered on the edge of the lower cabinets whenever those get built

I see all the beautiful pictures of kitchens and think mine is so plain. I like it though. I guess that’s all that matters.
