This is divisive and part of the problem here in this country and serves no purpose.
I think it does. As long as Democrats continue to tolerate that behavior, it is the face of their party IMHO. That’s why I can’t vote for them in 2024 other than local elections because I refuse to it.

These extremists have become the face and voice of their respective parties because we (general) are all putting up with it.

Note the symbols commonly seen on Proud Boys and others on the right wing of those who vote Republican.

Now I entirely agree that not every member of the Republican Party is on the far right, just as not every member of the Democrat Party is a card-carrying socialist.

But they're definitely under the umbrella, seen to talk at party conferences, get wooed by Trump (and others Republicans seeking high office) and used to fly kites.

Which in turn throws under the rug, those people who just happen to be moderate Republican or Democrat, and want the two extremes to go self-implode from both parties.

Moderates get shamed for the “both sides” argument or not picking one side for some insane reason.

I don’t think this is gonna get better after 2024 either because it seems that we are doomed no matter what.

I don't agree that these people are representative of the republican party but their presence at CPAC and RNC conventions makes me wonder why the republican party wants to tie themselves to these people?

Let’s not pretend the antifa rioters embody the Democratic Party either…

They may not. Unless you can show that Republican Party members are amongst these people or praising them, they’re not really tying themselves with them.

Surely if someone is supporting a Republican candidate for President (Ron DeSantis, in this case), that's a good indication that they intend to vote Republican?
