dumbass has it backward. If we want China to pay more, then we need to raise the prices of the goods we sell to them. Except we buy more shit from them than they do from us. Too bad Trump didn't pay attention in college in his Econ classes. For the tariffs to really have an effect on China, we have to stop buying their shit.

That's not ever going to happen. Americans like paying $1000 for a phone that cost less than $100 bucks to manufacture, same thing with shoes, clothes, appliances, IKEA crap and all the rest of that throw away shit. Those idiots don't know the difference between a waterfront property on a real lake and a "waterfront" property on a retention pond.
