Is it strange?

The kids go to bed at 8; my dh and I have time together and go to bed around 10:30. I mentioned last night that I missed the kids. Dh thought it was strange because I’m with them all day, and I had only been away from them for a couple of hours.

Do you miss your kids after bedtime, or am I crazy?

You're not crazy. I think we've all had those moments.

No I’ve never missed kids who were a few feet upstairs in bed.

I've never missed my kids after they're in bed for the night, lol.

That's silly.

Nope, I have never missed my kids when they are in bed.. We cherish bedtime in this house lol. Love my kids to death but we need adult time too so we don't go insane in a house full of dramatic girls.

Hell no.

I’m not codependent on my kids. I enjoy time with them and time without them.

To say you miss your kids when they are still in the same house, just asleep? Yeah, that's a little strange. Actually, a lot strange.
