My local community college campus (it's about 2 miles away) has a 4 year Engineering program through UT-Tyler.
The ENTIRE degree at community college prices.
Now how stupid would I be if I didn't?
Hell I could get my son into this same program in a couple of years.
This kind of solves my tuition issues. A full semester is about $1500 + maybe another $500 for books. So ~ 2k a semester.
How stupid would I be if I didn't take advantage of this?

Well are you interested in the degree? If so, then I think it is a no brainer.

Are you interested in the type of engineering program it is? Could you keep up with the demands of the program? If so then go for it.

Yes. It'll take some doing and longer than 4 years but I can do it.highlandmum wrote: ↑Thu Jul 11, 2019 9:55 am Are you interested in the type of engineering program it is? Could you keep up with the demands of the program? If so then go for it.
Sounds like you have been interested in an engineering career for a while now. I say, "Go for it!"

I think mechanical sounds like the most fun. Building things like airplanes parts and stuff.
