I walked out of work because one of the managers said something rude to me

I do not tolerate disrespect at work. There are a lot of people who do and it things have just been getting worse.

One of the managers was saying I was working too slowly and asked if autism runs in my family.

That was 100% uncalled for. HR knows of the crappy things this manager says and have done nothing.

I didnt even say another word to him, I just went home.

My boss was not happy about it but I really dont care. I will not stay and work if I am being disrespected.

No but I'm not worried about it. I could find another one easily if I wanted to. I have already been looking around at my other options and have considered just taking some time off work
