An overwhelming majority of Americans say that a sitting president should be subject to criminal charges, according to a new poll.

Yes of course. No one is above the law. We have steps in place to make sure someone can step up and run the country. That was established after Kennedy was assassinated. So unless the VP was implicated too, the VP would become president and if the VP couldn't then the Speaker of the House would become acting president to finish out the term. I don't see why the Justice Department is being such a p**sy about it. We must uphold the integrity of the office, the law, and the Constitution. We cannot have a criminal running the country.

Anyone who is thought to have violated the law should be subject to a fair trial and due process and held liable should such process deem he or she liable. Information and "evidence" should be adequately substantiated for a conviction.

Absolutely. Being President doesn’t mean that you’re above the law. Quite the contrary.
