Why can’t I upload an avatar?

I wanted to make my avatar this beautiful brain section I sliced today but it’s saying my image has too many pixels? Boo hiss

It seems to be a glitch on here. Try this one. It should work.

she set a max limit of 250x250 pixels, so any avatars have to be resized (if anyone needs a picture resized, let me know, I can do it in photoshop in about 30 seconds.)
