Ugh.
Our DD (12) decided to run into our bedroom and do a belly flop on our brand new, 10 day old, $2500 bed. All 98 pounds of her broke a piece of the frame. Thankfully, they were able to come out and fix it.
Let's just say she hasn't even thought about jumping on any more furniture since..
Good luck!
My 10 year olds broke our window!

My 10 year old broke the window by putting her feet on it and pushing on it. She said she didn't think it would break!
The metal frame is bent and the glass broken. And the kicker I am not even sure if we can fix it. I would have to find the exact same frame and everything.
She didn't even do it out of anger she was laying on the couch and put her feet on the window and push with her feet.
I knew I couldn't have nice things but gosh dang can I at least have the simple things like windows that aren't broken!
At least wasnt cut

Thankfully she didn't get her feet cut. That is about the only positive spin I can put on this.

Accidents happen. She probably didn't mean to break it, but she should have known better. If my 11 year old did that I would probably have grounded her for a period of time.KendallsMom wrote: ↑Sat Jul 27, 2019 8:58 pmUnderstatement of the year! LOL!
