Mine, 5-6 years now, if you want to count the time she was in a college dorm. She has had her own place for a couple years. Her old room is now an office.

My oldest moved out 2 yrs ago, my youngest moved out in this past August .

Both live near you?

1 is within walking distance to my house the other is within a ten minute drive.

6 Weeks.....not sure if this qualifies me as a full empty nester but my friends are referring to me as that. My daughter started her freshman year at a college 3 hours away. So while she will be home for the holidays and summer, she is off and running otherwise.
