Panicking in the car because you smell a fart.

Just happened to me. I was driving alone, about half an hour into the drive and I hear a weird sound then smell a fart. I panicked. Pulled the car over, ran away from it at first, then started checking the backseat and trunk, nothing.
I dont know what to think now.
