My son broke his phone. Again.

This is the 3rd time hes broken his phone in the last year.

This time im switching him to a flip phone and making him pay for the repairs.

Think he'll learn to be more careful now?

I made DD replace her screen after the 1st time, because every single time it’s been pure carelessness.

Yikes.. mine just wouldn't have a phone. If my kid can't stop breaking a phone, they would not have one. I'm not paying for a phone for them to break it over and over. Phones are not cheap so I'd be annoyed to say the least.

I've paid the 1st time with apple care but after that, it was on her. She is outright paying for her phone right now after her last one had to be replaced because it randomly kept turning off.

14. He has just enough birthday money remaining to cover the cost of the repair.
I've never made him pay before but this is just getting ridiculous.

Its not a top of the line phone. A older Samsung.
