He didn't say goodbye to his dad first, before he left?
No. He hasnt seen his dad in two or 3 years. I think it was his late sophmore year. Niether has his grandparents
That is just so insane and unbelievable to me that a parent is out of their child's life for years at a time. Did they fall out or is this guy just some skid that drifts in and out?
He has addiction issues

That was my guess. That's my oldest niece's father too. It's heartbreaking. Hope your guy is doing well in basic.

That I was a F***ing liar because the military
⅛doesnt accept 15 yos and that if he wasnt ready and outside for pick up by 11am he was calling the authorities. I sent him a screen shot of my son's borth certificate proving his age. Funny enough I havent heard anythung else from him
See now, I do believe I would have let him call the authorities.
Why waste their time?
I'd think it evident.
Don't text while driving. Don''t text while stopped at stop signs and traffic lights. You're not a four year old...exercise some self-control.

It’s their choice. Sounds like he did it to himself so I can’t really feel sorry for him.

So wait, it's okay for your kids to be rude to their father?
